Blue screen of death
The Blue Screen of Death is the ugly screen that tells you your system is gotten unstable...
There's a utility now to change the colors, find it
here. It won't get less ugly though... for Windows 95, 98 and Me - no options for NT, 2k and XP. It places two entries in your "system.ini" (in the Windows folder), under
[386Enh]:
MessageTextColor=..
MessageBackColor=..
Here's the colors:
0 = Black |
8 = Gray |
1 = Dark blue |
9 = Blue |
2 = Dark Green |
A = Green |
3 = Dark Cyan |
B = Cyan |
4 = Dark Red |
C = Red |
5 = Dark Magenta |
D = Magenta |
6 = Dark Yellow |
E = Yellow |
7 = Dark Gray |

Another utility to change the colors is
