I've been trying to figure out the custom sort settings. Heres what I've found so far. The readme says it can sort according to window name and window classes, but I've found it works better here with window classes.
To get a list of classes of all open windows, edit the TSInvoker.ini to read:
Then run TSInvoker.exe. This will create a WindowInfo.log file in your TaskbarSorter directory. Alternatively you can use Winspector to get window class names.
Now we have a list of classes, we create our custom sort list. To do this, edit the TSInvoker.ini file to now read:
The config.ini is where we put our custom sort list. Heres a short example of one that works for me: COOLPRO2.0
Unfortunately some windows are not being sorted to either class or window name. The readme says it can use wildcards, I've tried things like Jasc* to no avail.
It seems to sort alphabetically by default, and the leftover windows that were not sorted by the config.ini follow this pattern.
