Dude... did your version of MSPaint explode?
I guess if noisy is the way you like it then you should be completely blissful right now.
As a personal preference, this doesn't suit me... I'd be vomiting violently within the first ten minutes.
How many games do you play by the way?

downplayed the noisyness of the icons a bit, basicly turned of the lables on most of them and reduced the icon size on those that need a label (that folder cluster and the games in the corner).
killed the bugs and the pumpkin to as they where an old attempt at branding. and i reverted to the normal taskbar (minus the tasks, they are in a vertial area hidden at the left edge of the screen, bump to find).
background is the second attempt at making a circuitboard like image. maybe is should add a some more lines and other details:P
btw, the image of the original post now points to the current setup...

ok, i have replaced the image again...
i quit trying to get the explorer taskbar to look like something out of litestep or similar and instead put some "useful" info there

well most of the time its covers by firefox or similar
or maybe a game.
only time its realy showing is when its not in use...
and those toolboxes are one app. just kill it and presto they are gone
and one of their practical aspects is that i can alt+tab them on top of any non-fullscreen app. so even with firefox covering the desktop i can get to them.
