First thing I thought of was
AlienWare
While Litestep isn't particularly my thing, this does seem functional. Only thing I see missing is the TaskBar, which I'd never live without.

I never liked a taskbar, with it's big buttons that are just slightly offset from the bottom of the screen. I almost never maximize a window and rarely use the mouse(hotkeys are the way to go).
I guess I would like the taskbar a lot more if it behaved like the tabs in firefox with dragable tabs(dragable, middle-click to close, drag tab to quicklaunch or any folder to create a shortcut)
