Hiding 16x16 Icons In XP That Appear To Left Of Each Open Window

Hey, basically I wanted to know if there was a simple app/hack that hides/removes the horrible 16x16 icons that appear on the Window's XP taskbar to the left of each open window without having to hack each individual .dll file for each program? I'm using a visual style to customize my taskbar and I can easily hide my systray icons but everytime I open a new window I am greeted with those horrible 16x16 icons which just ruins my clean interface. Any help would be much appreciated!

there is a quite easy way:
ull have to edit your visual style. either the hard way with reshack (freeware), or with stylebuilder (payware) which is much easier. basically all u need 2 do is find the entry responsible for the content margins of the taskbar items. once u found it, simply remove around 20 pixel from the left. Example:
Original: 0,0,0,0 (meaning no margins)
what u want: -20,0,0,0 (hides the 20 first pixels to the left)

hope u get what i mean...

How do you do that with reshack? I was looking all over the visual style and I couldn't find what I was supposed to edit at all.
