Hiding 16x16 Icons In XP That Appear To Left Of Each Open Window
Hey, basically I wanted to know if there was a simple app/hack that hides/removes the horrible 16x16 icons that appear on the Window's XP taskbar to the left of each open window without having to hack each individual .
dll file for each program? I'm using a visual style to customize my taskbar and I can easily hide my systray icons but everytime I open a new window I am greeted with those horrible 16x16 icons which just ruins my clean interface. Any help would be much appreciated!

there is a quite easy way:
ull have to edit your visual style. either the hard way with reshack (freeware), or with stylebuilder (payware) which is much easier. basically all u need 2 do is find the entry responsible for the content margins of the taskbar items. once u found it, simply remove around 20 pixel from the left. Example:
Original: 0,0,0,0 (meaning no margins)
what u want: -20,0,0,0 (hides the 20 first pixels to the left)
hope u get what i mean...

How do you do that with reshack? I was looking all over the visual style and I couldn't find what I was supposed to edit at all.
