xRun2 - Anyone got it?
I saw a
thread over on custo about things to do with the run box :
Syro has a lot of the
methodic apps archived, but not xRun2. Does anyone else have it? I don't think I do.
If we find it, it would go well in the
Alternatives for command line section. Btw, that section needs some cleaning, esp for the run box section. Most of the links are dead.

Sweet. Thx syro & beaker. Quick work guys.
While we're on the subject, does anyone have the apps from the dead links listed in the
Alternatives for command line section? The apps that are missing are
OverRun,
RunModule, and
Run+. The apps
dRun and
Consolable still have working links.
I had another idea too. Syro, what would you think of a lil more to that page? I might be able to whip up some simple, but fitting,
xhtml with screen shots (if they are still on meth's da account). Sound like something cool to you, or do you just want to keep it simple?

I've got Run+ ver 1.95. Let me know if sryo doesn't upload it

Nice. We might even be able to talk pogz into uploading it on his site.

i could upload a simple html with a small description of each app, along with the screenshots if you have them
(btw, does anyone have xCap, or it's last version's release date?)
update: quick html in place.

Blast it, he cleared out his DA account or couldn't get his normal methodik name. Only hting I saw was his
custo account, which has only one thing in it. Although it's nice (
mercury SS), it doesn't feature any of his apps.
I'll have to dig up some old WinT screen shots that featured it.

No wonder I couldn't find it.
Nice work on the site btw. It looks good. Seems pretty complete too. Makes me want to try them out again. I might be able to make some smaller screenshots one day, or put a few apps into one screenshot. I'm half temped to rewrite some descriptions even.
I'll sleep on it and decide later. I might make an "explorer" user to mess with the shell. Hmm... I could even write up some simple tutorials. I'll definately sleep on it.
Thx again guys (sryo, beaker, crae).
Hmm... I'm smelling a news article if we go somewhere with this. An app grave yard... hehehe. A place for pogz apps would be cool too. Hmm... a general tek skinnable necromany article is begining to form in my head.

Nice site, some notes though.
I don't care for the image resizing. At least have a warning about hovering over the images. It scared the hell out of me.
Also, it'd be nice if the apps where arranged in alphabetical order.
And do you need kvwm?

I said that I had the source code for kvwm, but it is in the zip file as well... If I would look before I said something...

Kvwm and xTrayTasks are under the GPL, so those two will need a copy of the gpl with them. And of course the source code available somewhere.
I wonder what else he has the code for? I hope meth has seen this thread. If nothing else, it shows appreciation for his work.

Anyone recall the hyrda, 545, or box app sets?

SoftIni (of Box* fame) goes under a different name these days. But I can't remember what it was.

Base2 (Binary Productions) is another one. I recently found his newsnabber app. Hehe... it's kinda funny. The thing is pre-rss, and virtually useless. You would have to make a custom feed just so it could be used. I bet I have a lot of his old stuff that few new about. Skinnables has his other skinnable stuff archived already, but there isn't a relic page.
I bet I have some more 545 stuff, too. It's all gone at this point, so I guess it's ok to have it on a relic page.
