IE custom toolbar
I cant seem to find the original thread that provided the Setup files for this. I recently FFR'd and lost alot of my mods. Can someone help me out with this? It provided the ability to "implant" a custom HTML toolbar onto IE. I just need the setup files, and instructions on initializing the
dll. I still have all my custom HTML code for it.

Okay, just about got it running again... still bumping into the "To Help protect your security, IE has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer" splash screen. (Stupid Microsoft Crap) I tried adding this as my first Line in the Target HTML:
<!-- saved from url=(0014)about:internet -->
(A prior sugestion of Plastic) But alas, no notable change.
Any ideas?

Are you running XPSP2? Its a local file you're loading, right? I had the same thing under SP2 with some HTML UI selectbars. (See
HTML in the UI).
There's a registry fix for it though, which works for me.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_LocalMachine_Lockdown\]
"explorer.exe"=dword:00000000
Original info
Just be aware that it can possibly decrease IE security, but only if any malicious script that might be running is alreadly local on your machine. Or something...
I'm glad we're not the only ones trying to figure out a way to run HTML UI code in sp2.

Here's a solution that I've always followed, and never done me harm.
Dont use SP2. I (before the primary of 3 hd's died) ran XP Pro w/ no service packs.. the only update was the blaster fix, and rather than downloading a couple hundred megs of updates, and constant reboots, and SP2 protecting me from myself, I just downloaded ZoneAlarm, and poof. No Problems.
But thats me

I do the same

Unfortunatly, someday I'll buy a new computer with Vista, and this trick won't work anymore. But then maybe I'll make Avalon apps instead of using html...

Well, it appears Microsoft continued its hacking of stuff. I cant seem to make a Link that will load different HTML into the bar space.
I also appear unable to direct the location of the main window, (which is half the point)
Any soloutions?
