Ya, I still can't wirte scripts. I'm trying to learn java for school right now.

Anyway, I don't know if a script like this exists, but it sure would come in handy on XP machines. Propertiy boxes don't even include extentions any more, so the only way to know what a full file name is is to turn them on. A script like the "Show/Hide Hidden Files" one would be something I would use regularly. Heck, it would come in handy when renaming files too (if you don't have extentions always showing).

Anyway, couldn't you just alter methodik's script? The only thing that needs changing is the location in the registry and the correct key/value.

Ya, know, I'll have to have a good look at it and see if I can. I didn't think of that, but I didn't read the script either (not in awhile at least).
