Italics showing where not before on webpages >,

I always get the strangest errors..and I can never figure it out..I know this isn't customization related but someone usually can help here..

Like on Google.com all the links are in Italics..if I change my text encoding to Any other size (smaller, small, large, larger) they don't show italics..only when on medium, whihc is what I use..I can't figure out why this changed all the sudden..it happens on several sites where it should not..

What browser and version do you use? And what OS is it?

If you're using IE, check the "Accessibility" settings on the Internet Options panel - you might have a User Style Sheet set up, which overrides styles in webpages. That's the only thing I can think of that would do this, short of corrupted fonts or another ms "feature"...

This is also a possibility in Firefox. If you have a user-defined stylesheet with an !important tag concerning link elements it will override the style settings of webpages that you visit.
