font help

On my desktop, I'm unable to use the .fon fonts to customize my desktop icon text. Only .ttf files are available to use. Is there anyway that I can use the .fon fonts or possibly changing the .fon file type to a .ttf file?

What OS do you use? For me, in XP, i've installed a theme called Axiis II, that comes with the "nu.fon" file, for using in icons labels (either desktop or explorer windows). I'm not sure, but I think you can specify .FON file with DisplaySet. Give it a try.
