Is it possible to deactivate bold fonts in context menus?

The context menu in Windows usually has a default action which is shown in bold. For most file types, it is usually "Open."

I have substituted MS Sans Serif to Myriad Web Bold and a double bold font doesn't look so good, not to mention sometimes rendered illegible.

Would it be possible to disable that bold text or perhaps modify it so it is in italics instead?
