Taskbar tweak or hack or whatnot

I just had an epiphany (note sarcasm) :P
I've got the sudden urge to have the taskbar on the left.. pretty basic, yes. But now to the tricky part.. I want the startbutton to be at the bottom of the taskbar, and the clock to be on top, with tray still down there perhaps, or not.. is there any tool out there to move these items around on the taskbar? If not, how the hell should I hack it? hehe..... It would be great to have the startbutton at the bottom, it would be like having the taskbar at the bottom, but instead you have all your tasks vertically, and the clock on top... oooh man... someone, please create this tool :D any ideas? anyone who knows how to acomplish this?

Can't be hacked with resource hacker. It would be done in hex, thus easier to recode a clone or even easier to make a LiteStep theme similar to what you want.

yeah, it's pretty hard to do.

here's something you might be interested in--moving the start button around: http://virtualplastic.net/msgboard/thread.php?forum=1&thread=167
