ok, i ran the removing the new menu from the context menu and now everything is removed except REFRESH and Properties... can anyone provide me the CLSID# for XP located in regedit under:

Hkey_Classes_Root_/Directory/Background/Shellex/ContextMenuHandlers

Akuira, don't forget you'll need to add the NEW key itself. I wish I knew the proper clsid # to give you. Plastic will know for sure if he comes in here. He's an XP reg expert, some others will know too.
