You might have noticed, you're required to register to interact here. At the risk of endless repeating ourselves, you're only required to supply a valid email address. This is not displayed by default; if you want it in your profile, you'll have to add it manually and even then it's encrypted - more info -here. Login/register -here and most options given afterwards speak for themselves.
Allowed html (including their ending tags):
Support for <u> is removed as it's not allowed since -xhtml 1.0. Solutions for the <nobr> (not allowed) and <blockquote> (allowed, but needs some additional formatting) are not yet available.
If you want to use < and >, replace these characters with < (or <) and > (or >) respectively. All of the tags not listed here will just be displayed as if.
If you don't know html here are some examples:

Not so fast, you... posting a new message is only possible one minute after posting a previous message. A precaution to preserve you from posting the same message twice. You know, reloading pages and such...
Edit and delete options speak for themselves. You can only delete a message within the first 30 minutes from posting though. So don't shift to rant mode that easily :).
